34, passed away on January 26, 2016. He was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, on July 27, 1981, to Steven W. Spinks and Linda K. (Doss) Spinks. Steven was a 1999 graduate of Ben Davis High School and attended Purdue University. He loved football, as a player for Ben Davis, attending the Colts games, or watching the NFL with family and friends. He was a passionate young man that always had a smile and hug for everyone. The light of his world was his son, Jackson Wesley Spinks; whom he fondly called "Angel Eyes".
Steven is survived by his son Jackson Spinks, Indianapolis; stepson Donny Harper, Indianapolis; parents Steve and Linda Spinks, Indianapolis; sister Angela Pickett (Jay), Indianapolis; niece Brooklyn Pickett, Indianapolis; nephew Joseph Pickett, Indianapolis; great-nephew Braisyn Pickett; great-niece Ava Pickett; grandmothers Ann Doss, Indianapolis, and Bobbi West. He was proceeded in death by his grandfathers Jack B. Doss and Wilbur Spinks.
