Sumie was a beloved wife of 65 years, mother, sister and friend. She leaves behind her husband, Rudolph and one daughter, Linda Marie. She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter Judi Ann.
Sumie and Rudolph married on May 26, 1960. They went on to have their first daughter, Linda Marie on February 19, 1961 at the Yokosuka Naval Hospital in Japan. Sumie and Rudolph moved to America on August 18, 1962 and had their second daughter, Judi Ann on September 12, 1963 in Indianapolis. Sumie received her US Citizenship on February 11, 1975. Her family moved into their home in Indianapolis in July 1963 where she lived until her passing.
A funeral service for Sumie will be held on Monday, August 25, 2025 at 11:00 AM at Feeney Hornak Shadeland Mortuary, 1307 N. Shadeland Ave. Indianapolis, IN 46219. Burial will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis.
