Susan Mary Keefe Kenney, born June 3rd, 1961 was the fourth child in four years born to Richard and JoAnn Keefe and the first girl. Susan was a gentle, kind person who was adored by her older brothers as well as her younger sister and brother who came right after her.

Susan found joy in singing when she was in high school and became a member of the Broad Ripple Swing Choir. She had many good friends and was always up for a fun time. Susan married and had two beautiful daughters who will miss her dearly, as will all of her family and friends. A hole has been left in our hearts. God Bless you Susan, we know you are now at peace.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2019 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Christ the King Catholic Church, 5884 Crittenden Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46220. A Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow at 11:00 AM also at the church.

Susan was always a good friend. She was a kind, loving, funny, nonjudgmental soul.

We had so much fun in our younger years. I remember a weekend when we visited Jenny in Bloomington and went to the Blue Bird to see Dr Bop and the Headliners. On another occasion Susan and I went to Chicago for a weekend and spent an evening with Dollar Bill. I feel so fortunate that Susan was able to spend her 50th Birthday week with me on Fort Myers Beach.

I know that the happiest of times for Susan are the years that she was raising her family. She so adored her daughters.
Allison and Lauren, I am so very sorry for the loss of your mother.
Jenny and Richard, I am so very sorry for the loss of your sister.

Susan, I will miss your sense of humor, the sound of your laughter, your beautiful smile. But mostly, I will miss your hugs. You gave the best hugs, hugs that spoke volumes of your loving nature.

A good heart has stopped beating, a good soul ascended to heaven.
Rest In Peace my friend.

Jenny, Richard, Allison and Lauren,

My thoughts are with all of you upon your loss. We will all miss her terribly. When I was preparing to open "Mickey Quinn's" the first two employees I hired were Sue & Kati Vaubel and I could not have made a better choice. From that moment on we were like family and I still feel that way. Those were such happy times as I watched her marry and have children but she always returned to work as she was fiercely loyal to everyone she loved. I only wish we could sit and share stories and grins one more time. I would love to hear that great laugh again. Our friendship was something I loved and my memories of her will be treasured forever. Rest in peace, Susan. I love you and God Bless you !

xoxo,

Mickey
