

Terrell B. Schoen, known to friends and family as Terry or “T” of Zionsville, IN passed away on November 27, 2020 due to lung cancer, he was 75 years old. He was born August 31, 1945 to parents, Thaddeus and Hazel Schoen of Zionsville, IN. Terry graduated from Ft. Myers Senior High School in 1963 and subsequently attended Iowa State, School of Horticulture.
Terry was a gifted horticulturalist, floral designer and landscape architect. He worked at Bauer Stein Camp Growers, McNamara Florist and was part owner of Flowers & Feathers Florist in Richmond, IL. He was the Landscape Architect and Manager for the Squaw Peaks Hilton Resort & Spa in Phoenix, AZ where his floral designs for the property were well known locally and drew a crowd from far and wide. Terry’s love for family was expressed through many floral arrangements including weddings for his brother, nieces and nephew. He also designed and built waterfalls and ponds for his brother and sister.
Terry was predeceased by his father, mother and sister Judy Veatch. He is survived by his brother, Thad Schoen, brother-in-law, Don Veatch, 3 nieces (Kris Veatch Nolan, Angie Veatch and Francesca Schoen Lang), a nephew (Craig Veatch), a great-niece (Maddie Nolan) and 5 great-nephews (Ben and Evan Veatch, Luke Nolan, Aidan and Ryker Lang).
In light of the Covid-19 pandemic, there will be a small committal service for immediate family only. Date to be determined.
