An incredible woman was taken to heaven way to soon at the age of 60 due to cancer. Terri was a wonderful, loving, and caring wife to Alan, whom she shaped into a kinder, gentler man over their many years of marriage. She was an amazing mother to sons Derek McFarland and Alan McFarland (wife Brie) and stepmother to David Symons and Barry Symons (wife Ruthann). She enjoyed her grandchildren greatly and showered them with love. Seeing her around her grandkids made hearts stop with the love and devotion she had for them. Troy, Jack, and Cole live in Toronto and Laela, Mason and Arianna live in Indianapolis.
Terri leaves behind her sister and best friend Cindy Dudley (husband Tim), who never left her side and her brother Scott Cline (wife Patty). Terry loved her brother and sister deeply.
Her parents, Randy and Lavada Cline, preceded her in death.
Terri touched so many with her spirituality, kindness and understanding. She has left behind so many loved ones it is hard to explain how deeply her friends and family felt for her. To the very end, she was visited and looked after by so many dear friends and family, and we appreciate how hard it was for them but so helpful for her and our family to see such love between all.
Terri enjoyed in her later years becoming a master gardener to tend to the secret garden at our home in the historic Meridian Street district. She became a sought-after interior decorator and then embarked on designing and manufacturing a children’s clothing line as well as a line of spiritually significant jewelry, which featured symbols of life under the name Bodhi-Chi.
Her Funeral service will be held at 4 PM on Friday September 3rd, 2021 at Crown Hill Funeral Home at 700 west 38th street . We ask that only those who have been vaccinated attend the service. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society in her name.
