A peaceful sunset came to Thelma Delores Williams-Vinson on February 16, 2024. Thelma answered the call from the angel of death. Together they strode to the land free of sin, sickness, pain, sorrow, and death.
Thelma was daughter of Willie S Clark and Maggie Fields-Clark. She was born February 28, 1937 in Jackson, MS. She was the second youngest of fifteen children. Thirteen siblings preceded her in death.
Thelma confessed her life to Christ at an early age. As she grew older, she became an active choir member at First Samuel Baptist Church.
Through the united matrimony to Eugene Williams (deceased), three children were born: Peggy Wilcher, Eugene Williams Jr. (deceased), and Linda Williams (deceased). Later in life, Thelma met and married Earnest Vinson (deceased).
Thelma is survived by her daughter (Peggy), and younger sister (Margaret Ann), along with a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Do not mourn the loss, but celebrate and be joyful in the shared memories and love of Thelma Delores Williams-Vinson.
A visitation for Thelma will be held Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at First Samuel Missionary Baptist Church, 1402 N Belleview Place, Indianapolis, IN, followed by a celebration of life at 12:00 PM.
