IN THE CARE OF
Little & Sons Funeral Home
Theodore "Ted" V Perkins, age 73, of Franklin, Indiana passed away on Friday, November 6, 2020. Ted was born September 8, 1947 in Peru, Indiana to the late Helen Agnes Perkins (Schlee) and Verl S. Perkins. Ted was a US Navy veteran with a distinguished record in Vietnam including receiving a purple heart. He retired with the last bunch from Kawneer as it closed and was a former member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. His parents owned the Lake Hotel where he had fond memories. He also missed driving around and listening to music. Ted always liked to stay busy and would "piddle" in the garage constantly. He had a sense of humor that would embarrass his children from time to time; but everyone else enjoyed his humor. Ted would do anything for others especially for his children and family, even going without himself.
Ted is survived by his son, Charles "Chuck" Perkins; daughter, Angela Bowser; sister, Cindy Scott (Stan); 7 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.
His urn will be laid to rest with his parents Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Franklin Greenlawn Cemetery, Franklin, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Ted's memory may be made to Indiana Smoke Free, www.insmokefree.org; or Our Hospice of South Central Indiana, https://www.crh.org/service-centers/hospice.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.littleandsonsindianapolis.com for the Perkins family.
