Thomas Howard Hardy

Thomas attended school at Capital City SDA and Public School #41. He graduated from Crispus Attucks High School and Ivy Tech.

He accepted Christ at a very early age.

Thomas was a sailor in the US Navy from 1970-1974. In 1971, he was awarded sailor of the year. He retired from Allison's Transmission in 2006. He was also a bus driver for Washington Township Schools.

He was a member of Central Indiana Bicycle Association and a member and officer of the American Legion Post #249.

Thomas loved his family with his whole heart! His nieces and nephews said, "he was more of a daddy than an uncle." He was a blessing to everyone who knew him. He was our backbone.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Barbara, brothers, William Jr and Clifford, and sisters, Carol and Debbie.

He leaves to cherish his memory: Son Tyrone Hartsfield, Daughter Terran Hardy, Special nephew(son) Desharne Hardy, Sisters, Joyce Jackson and Opal Hardy, Sister/Cousin, Mildred Bridgeforth, brother, Lorance Hardy and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and grandchildren.
