Thomas H Holt

Thomas Harold Holt was born April 29th 1967 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to George and DeVera Holt. Thomas was the eldest of three siblings. Thomas attended Indianapolis Public Schools, eventually graduating from Crispus Attucks High School in 1985. Following High school he attended Southwestern Christian College in Terrell, Texas. Thomas was an avid sports and music enthusiast. In his adult life, he found an interest in technology. He spent his career working in IT as a computer specialist with City Securities.

Tom was a kind and gentle soul who was admired and loved by many. He was a avid reader and loyal friend who had a warm heart and a welcoming smile; always willing to help anyone who was in need. Tom loved spending time in nature, taking long walks specifically in Arizona. One of his favorite places to be was the Grand Canyon.

Tom was a foodie and student of nutrition. He loved to cook, try different restaurants and sharing recipes. He also enjoyed going to the farmers markets on the weekend. He was a very spiritual person who spent a considerable amount of time in prayer and meditation. Tom was a very empathetic person and a conversationalist. He was very knowledgeable on a wide variety of topics, always open and honest about his views.

He really loved his niece and nephews and took a great deal of pride in their accomplishments. He loved traveling by train meeting and talking to interesting people. Tom was always there when we needed his help to assist us in any way that he could. He was a very grateful person who will be solely missed.

Tom departed this life on May 26th 2022 surrounded by his loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents GP and Olivia Holt, John and Mizetta Winston, and niece Khylir Simone Holt.

Tom leaves to cherish his loving memory to his beloved parents George and DeVera Holt; brothers Richard Holt (Natalie) and Phillip Holt, niece Bailee Holt and nephews Denhm Holt and Evric Higgins. Many dear cousins, aunts, uncles and host of friends.

A Memorial will be held on Saturday June 18th, 2022 from 3pm to 6pm at Crown Hill Cemetery, Celebration Room.
