86, of Indianapolis passed away on February 23, 2012. He was born on April 26, 1925 in Indianapolis, Indiana. He was an engineer for Conrail for 40 years, retiring in 1987. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed time with his family and friends. Tom is preceded in death by his wife Lucille and son John L. Wallsmith, sister Patty L. Johnson. He is survived by his children; James F. (Kay), Richard I. (Joyce) Wallsmith, Cathy L. Jackson, 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be Monday February 27 at 12 pm at Feeney - Hornak Shadeland Mortuary. Burial will be in Anderson Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday February 26 from 2 – 8 pm and Monday from 11 am until service time at the mortuary.
