Treva and I were hired a month a part in 2017 and were the last two hires of that year. As we worked together, I was drawn to her because she had amazing talent in workforce development and advocating for individuals.

She was a true humanitarian that always strived to lend a helping hand. It did not matter what your background, age, race, color, sexual orientation, gender, economic status, single individual,,single parent, domestic violence survivor, or young adult, she was there waiting to be a help.

She was a faithful servant. Her presence will be with me for the rest of my days. She was a big sister and she was there to pick the ring that I gave to my fiancé.

She was truly one of the good ones and took care of very intelligent sons. She set an example for single parents that they can have a career and still raise a family.

Treva was a colleague of mine at the John Boner Neighborhood Centers. She always had a smile for me and asked me about my three guys. She also knew I loved Prince and the color purple, so she would always share Prince things to my Facebook wall. I am going to miss her. I am sending my prayers and loving thoughts your way. She truly was a special person.

Treva was a very positive, kind & caring person, dedicated to her work at the John Boner Neighborhood Centers and even more dedicated to her son and family. I am blessed and lucky to have known her through my work in partnership with the Center.

She will truly be missed. May good memories of her and God's grace comfort her family, friends and co-workers at this time of sorrow.
