Twila Jeanne Lewis was born on January 5, 1955 the daughter of William C and Barbara J. Ferguson in Kokomo, Indiana.

She was employed as an assembler at Delco Electronics and Delphi Electronics, retiring after 25 plus years of service. She was a member of Strait Gate Ministry where she attended bible study and prayer ministries. She also was a member of the UAW local #292. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and preparing meals for her family.

Her parents and one daughter, Tondra Rochelle preceded her in death.

She is survived by her husband, Richard F. Lewis, daughters, Tashanna R. Lewis, Melissa R. Lewis, son, Richard F. Lewis, Jr., brother, William W. Ferguson of Indianapolis, step sister, Sanna Bayless of San Marino, California, step brothers, Gary Bayless and Tim Bayless both of Springfield, Ohio , six grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.

Services will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2012, 12 Noon at Strait Gate House of Prayer. Pastor Jack Woodard will be the officiant and eulogist. Visitation will be on Saturday from 10 A.M. Burial will be in Crown Point Cemetery. Memorial Contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements entrusted to Bluitt & Son Funeral Home.
