

89, of Indianapolis passed away unexpectedly on August 27, 2014. He was born in Sweet Springs Missouri to the late Selma (Pinkepank) and Edwin Haesemeyer. He married Kathleen (Kaye) Carpenter on February 5, 1948, and she survives.
Dick and Kaye have 3 daughters, Pam (Jim) Newton of Fishers, Indiana, Bonnie Hasemeyer of Indianapolis, and Kim (Chris) Herbertz of Washington, Indiana; Grandchildren include Erin (Sean) Thompson of Indianapolis, Elizabeth (Pete) Yoder of Washington, Ryan Herbertz of Evansville, and Sarah (Evan) Hembree of Washington and Great-grandchildren include Theo Yoder, Dalila Yoder, and Hattie Kaye Hembree.
Also surviving is a sister Wilma Storck of Concordia Missouri and brother Merril Haesemeyer of Kansas City Missouri. Along with his parents, one brother, Wilbert Haesemeyer preceded him in death.
After serving in World War II, Dick worked in the electronics industry for many years. He enjoyed spending time with his family and will be greatly missed.
A memorial services will be held at 1 PM on Saturday August 30th at the Little & Sons Funeral Home 4901 E. Stop 11 Rd, Indianapolis, with visitation from 11AM till time of the service. Interment will be held immediately following the service at Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers , the family requests that memorials be made to the Noble Industries Art Program, where Bonnie Hasemeyer studies art. Donations may be mailed to 7701 E. 21st St. , Indianapolis, IN 46219
