91, of New Whiteland, passed away on October 10, 2012.
She was born in Timber Lake, SD on May 1, 1921. Vada was married to Charles Platt on February 22, 1946.
Vada was an active member of Mount Auburn UMC. We remember her as a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother and a talented seamstress, cook, and organ player.
She was survived by husband Charles Platt; sister Beth Oster; daughters Karen Kirkpatrick and Wanda Slater (Jim); granddaughters Karey Thompson (Jason) and Dana McNulty (Zach).
Visitation will be held on October 13, 2012 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at Little and Sons Funeral Home, 4901 E. Stop 11 Road, Indianapolis, IN 46237. A memorial service will begin at 2:00 pm. www.littleandsonsindianapolis.com
