Vicki Diane Parks

Vicki Diane Parks, age 65, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2021. Vicki was born December 17, 1955 in Indianapolis to Homer and Ruth (Jenkins) Short. She was a stay at home mom before she worked for Franklin Township School System as a custodian as well as a lunch lady.

Vicki will be remembered as an amazing cook and always being late. She loved family and family get togethers. She fiercely loved her daughters UNTIL the grandkids came along.

Vicki is survived by her children Kristi (Brian) Terrell, Brandy (Ryan Miller) Parks, Sara (Scott) Steinbrook, sisters Genevieve(James) Warrenburg, Bonnie Parker, Cheryl Minton, brothers Ronald(Reeda), Randall and Daniel Short, brother-in-laws, Wayne Rogers, and Charles Hutcherson. Grandchildren Mitchell Terrell, Wesley Terrell, Rivers Miller, Novalee Miller and Memphis Miller. She is preceded in death by her parents Homer and Ruth Short, husband Richard Parks, stepson Jeffrey, sisters Jo Gail Rogers, Kathie Short, Susan Hutcherson and Aunt Addie King. Funeral services for Vicki will be Thursday July 1 at 11 am at Little and Sons Stop 11 Funeral Home. Burial will be at Washington Park East Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 30 from 4 - 8 at the funeral Home.
