Vicki Lynn Traub

Vicki Lynn Traub, 59, of Indianapolis, passed away Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at her home with her family. She was born June 9, 1958 in Indianapolis to the late Ralph and Lavonne (Butler) Jacob. She is also preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Joe Traub. Vicki worked at Bishop Chatard for 17 years and was a member of St. Matthew Catholic Church. She will be remembered for her contagious positive attitude and energy and the constant love she showed her friends and family. Vicki loved kids and most enjoyed spending time with her family, especially trips to the lake with her husband, children, grandchildren, and soon to be grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Jeff Traub; children, Jacob Traub (Jessica), Julie Liersch (Chad), Jenny Franek (Joe), and Jill Warrenburg (Pat); grandchildren, Stella and Brody Warrenburg, Conrad Liersch, and two on the way; siblings, Gary, Terry, Diane, Debbie, Pam, Larry, and Sherry; and in-laws, Jim, Anne, Barb, Pat, Carol, John, Kara, John, Susie, and Scott.

The family would like extend special thanks to Dr. Logie and his team for their first class care.

Visitation will be 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday, August 3, 2017, at Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary, 2126 E 71st St., Indianapolis, IN 46220. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 am Friday at St. Matthew Catholic Church, 4100 E. 56th St., Indianapolis, IN 46220 with burial to follow at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
