

Vincent was a man of great faith and placed God first in his life and attended Prairie View Christian Church. He loved reading his bible.
Vincent graduated from Broad Ripple High School in 1976. He later attended Lockyear College for his Associate’s Degree and worked in manufacturing for over 30 years. He was a man of style and a sharp dresser.
Vincent was a Master Drummer with over 50 years of experience that started at the tender age of 8. He was nicknamed “Thunderfoot” because of his fast-playing style on the kickdrum. He played and toured with various bands
Vincent loved barbecuing, fishing, western movies and working out at the gym, he was very health conscious.
Vincent was perfectionist, had a sense of humor that made everyone in his presence laugh and smile.
Vincent was a proud father to his children and loved his children, grandchildren, sisters, nieces and nephews very much.
Vincent is preceding in death by his father, William D. Vaughn; mother, Marcia R. Vaughn; and grandmother, Lola Mosley.
Vincent leaves to cherish his memories and legacy with his children, Vincent D. Vaughn II, Tanya F. (Calvin) Brasher and Nina R. (Sherod) Williams; grandchildren, Demi M. Vaughn, Richard E. James, Kelsey D. Brasher, Niema A. Williams, Shallah S. Williams; sisters, Elizabeth Nadine Vaughn, Pauletta Vaughn, Arhoda Vaughn, Adrienne M. Vaughn- Matthews; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A visitation for Vincent will be held Friday, December 20, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Crown Hill Funeral Home, 700 W. 38th St., Indianapolis, IN 46208, followed by a Celebration of Life at 12:00 PM.
