Virginia M. Deardorff

91, of Indianapolis passed away on December 19, 2013. She was born on May 22, 1922 in Raywick, Kentucky to Walter Lee and Ethel M. Downs Hall. She is preceded in death by her husband George, her son James Ellis, brothers Charles, Joseph, Walter and Thomas Hall. Virginia is survived by her daughters Barbara Ellis, Linda Hall, Constance (Andrew) Blasius, Mary Whitsit, Rita (William) Sanders, Catherine (Gregory) Smith, granddaughter Christina (Jason) Angelicchio, sister Madonna Crabtree, 16 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild. She was a member of Golden Aires, Silvertone’s and the American Legion. Funeral service will be Monday, December 23 at 10:30 am at Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Visitation will be Sunday, December 22 from 3 – 7 pm at the mortuary. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, memorials in Virginia’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society.
