Virginia "Ginny" Maxine Wilber, age 86, of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, July 28, 2021. Ginny was born October 30, 1934 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Ruby Rawley and Pete Rawley. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Charles Thomas Wilber and daughter, Lori Lynn Wilber. Ginny was a special education teacher in Westfield for over 30 years and took wonderful care of her daughter with special needs. She also loved spoiling her grandchildren and enjoyed spending as much time with them and other family and friends camping at Walnut Grove.
Ginny is survived by her daughter, Penny Wilber; son, Thomas Wilber; grandchildren, Jamie Oliver (Elaine Tipton), Hannah Miles, and Charles Wilber; and great grandchildren, Tyler Oliver and Michael Oliver. She is also survived by close family and friends who took extra great care of her, Peggy Hall, Jamsie Givens, Darla Wilber, and Christi Myers who the family is especially grateful for.
Visitation for Ginny will be held Saturday, August 7, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Feeney-Hornak Keystone Mortuary, 2126 E 71st St, Indianapolis, Indiana 46220, followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 PM. She will be laid to rest with her husband at Washington East Memorial Park in Indianapolis, Indiana.
