Walter A. Brown, 71, of Indianapolis passed away on Monday, November 10, 2025. He was born in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania to David and Estelle Brown on October 4, 1954. Walt retired from the Army after serving 20 years. He then went on to work at the Department of Workforce Development as a Veteran’s Representative, then Assistant Manager at Indianapolis East Side Office. He later went to Department of Veteran’s Affairs until he retired.
Walter is survived by his wife of 40 years, Maria; his children, Jennifer Pfaff, Lori (Joe) Fox, Richard (Jen) Brown and Amber Brown; brothers, David (Andi) Brown, Richard (Sharon) Brown; and six grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Monday, November 17, 2025 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at Feeney Hornak Shadeland Mortuary, 1307 N. Shadeland Ave. Indianapolis, IN 46219. Military honors will begin at 11:00 AM.
