I just learned this horrible news way after the fact. Bryce was one of my closest friends in college. We were estranged for many years but I still loved him very much. I'm sorry Bryce that I couldn't be there for you. I love you very, very much.

I just found out about this. What a shock. I knew Bryce at Ball State. Even though I hadn't seen him for a few years, the absence is already felt. Truly one of the greatest humans ever. And moments after I found out about his passing, someone came in to my office wearing a John Lennon t-shirt. What a truly hilarious, smart, and open guy. My most sincere condolences to his family. I am truly hoping you can find peace during this time.

Bryce, When John Lennon was laid to rest, you wore a black arm band representing your grief and support for his spirit.  Now there is a black band around my heart as I feel the loss of a great friend and support your spirit. You are truely missed by those near and far.

It is so heartbreaking to read all of these entries here and on your Facebook page. It so heartbreaking to know that you are no longer with us physically. But you will always be in the hearts of everyone who knew you. Rest in Peace Bryce.

In college, I knew Bryce as a kind, warm-hearted, deeply spiritual guy. Creative, intelligent, and had the best sense of humor. We took a yoga class together, and were instant friends. We both were musicians and English majors at the time. Through Bryce, I met some other musicians in Muncie, IN. And it was probably because of Bryce that I continued to study literature and creative writing. In a way, I feel as though Bryce probably saved my life. I can't imagine taking another path in life, and I can't imagine not having met Bryce. I have fond memories of our conversations, and I will always treasure my memory of Bryce. My thoughts and prayers go out to Bryce's family and children.

My cousin, Ben Wolfe, was so happy when Bryce and Wendy and the children came to see him. I'm sorry to hear of Bryce's passing.  My prayers go to his wife and children who knew him more than anyone.

Bryce, it was so hard to watch that twinkle in your eyes dim these past few months.  I was in awe of the love you had for your children. I only knew Bryce for a little while, but you only had to meet him once to know how special he was. I really enjoyed working with him while I was at the Heart Center, and learned a ton from him. I worked with Bryce at the Heart Center, but only really got to know him more recently. He was a great man full of spirit, love for his children, ..... He was dedicated to them. His baby girl loved giraffes. He told me about the giant one he bought for her and how happy she was. He was my friend. He made me laugh...... He got into my heart in a very short time. I miss him so much already. I pray that he is no longer in pain, and that he is living life in peace. Love you Bryce my friend.

I was surprised and deeply saddened to hear about Bryce. I had been in at least two shows with him in Anderson, The Odd Couple at Geeting Summer Theatre and Equus at the Anderson Fine Arts Center. I remember that one of his opening night rituals was to sometime during the day visit James Dean's grave in Fairmount and meditate there for while.
