His father, Willie Owens Sr, mother, Ada Lee Van Buren- Owens, sisters, Barbara Jean Owens- Wilburn, Yvonne Cox preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memory, sons, Willie Owens III, Christopher Owens, daughter, Cortney Owens, brothers, Kirk Douglas, Derrick Thompson (Sherell), sister, Regina Miles ( Michael), Pensacola, Fl, grandchildren, Aryanna Owens, Yeslyn Owens, Tasia Marissa Owens, Jaxson Owens and a host of extended family and friends.
His visitation will take place on Saturday, August 9, 2014, 9am- 11am, with the Homegoing Celebration commencing at 11am at Williams & Bluitt Funeral Home, Peoples Chapel. His burial will take place in Crown Hill Cemetery.
