His father, Leo Spivey, mother, Mary Nimox Spivey preceded him in death.
He leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Omie Spivey, son, Jerome Spivey, daughter, Jeanine Spivey- Coleman (Gail), brother, Pastor Jimmie Ray Spivey, sisters, Florine Wilson, Marjorie Wills (Robert), 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and a host of extended family and friends.
His visitation will take place on Saturday, October 25, 2014, 9am- 11am, with the Homegoing Celebration commencing at 11am at Little Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. His burial will take place in Lincoln Memory Gardens.
