

Kenneth O’Neal Hundley - Jan. 20, 1932 -- March 6, 2016 Kenneth O’Neal Hundley was born and raised in Monroeville, Alabama, the son of Claude O’Neal Hundley and Blanche Lazenby Hundley, and brother of Saranne Blass. Kenneth was an Eagle Scout, graduated from Monroe County High School. After graduating from the University of Alabama, in Industrial Engineering, he served in the Air Force as a pilot flying KC-97 refueling planes in the Strategic Air Command. Ken returned to work for Vanity Fair Corp. in Monroeville, Milton, FL, and Jackson, AL as plant manager. In Jackson, he worked with Jackson Cabinet & Manufacturing, which he later developed into a partnership with his son, Ken Hundley, Jr. and son-in-law, Allen Griggers. The United Methodist Church was always at the center of his life. He sang bass in the choir, taught Sunday School, and served in active leadership roles within the local and district church and beyond as a Lay Speaker, AWF Conference delegate, and on mission trips. Kenneth is survived by his wife of 61 years, Barbara Fields Hundley; one son, Ken Hundley, Jr (Amy) of Jackson; two daughters, Eleanor Griggers (Allen) of Monroeville and Lee Ann Boykin (Sterling) of Fort Walton Beach; along with 8 grandchildren, Katie H. Chambers (John); Jennifer H. Gangone (Lucas); Blair Hundley; Leighton Griggers (Alley); Leslee Griggers; Hudson Griggers; Ellie Boykin, and Jes Boykin, and 7 great grandchildren. His faithfulness to God, the church, his family, friends, and work was a shining example of how God loves us all. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made through Jackson First United Methodist Church, Memorial Fund; Stegall Scholarship Fund; or Pilots for Christ.
