Marjorie Sanders Parnell

Marjorie Sanders Parnell, 68, of Jackson, passed away February 6, 2016 at her residence. She was born July 26, 1947. She was a retired judicial assistant with the state courts system. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Wade Parnell; brother, Rusty Sanders and parents, Gordon Sanders and Marie E. Richardson. She is survived by her children, Andy (Amy) Parnell, Shea (Nick) Lowe; grandchildren, Madison Parnell, Zoe Hutto, Brylon Goodman; siblings, Merlene (Jerry) DuBose, Jayne (Fred) Cross, Missy (Ken) Lott, Ben Richardson and numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, February 9, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Tompkins Baptist Church in Grove Hill with the Rev. Johnny Kendrick officiating. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens in Jackson with Lathan Funeral Home directing. Pallbearers will be Tracy Nolfe, Jason Sanders, Gordon Sanders, Will Lott, Scooter Cross and Terry Horton.
