Mrs. Sandra Earline Wimberly Makowsky

Sandra Earline Wimberly Makowsky, age 69, born February 23, 1945, to the late Samuel Earl and Margie Schultz Wimberly, passed away Monday, July 14, 2014 at her residence in Montgomery, AL. Mrs. Makowsky was a School Teacher with the Montgomery Board of Education retiring in 2001. She was a member of the Evangel Temple in Montgomery and was a member of the NEA and AEA. Survived by: Husband of 46 years, Ben Makowsky of Montgomery, AL Daughters, Tracy Makowsky Nicole (Lawrence) Beasley Grandchildren, Christina Beasley Alec Beasley College roommate and very close friend, Susan Blair Cousin, Gayle McCormick Niece, Margaret W. Sanders In addition to her parents, Mrs. Makowsky is preceded in death by her son, Christopher Eric Makowsky and Granddaughter, Grace Alison Beasley. Graveside Services will be held Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at 12:30 P.M. at Wimberly Family Cemetery, Carlton, AL. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until the funeral hour at Lathan Funeral Home, Jackson, AL.
