Thomas Gilmer Gwin Jr.

Thomas Gilmer Gwin, Jr., 77, of Jackson, passed away September 7, 2016 at his residence. He was born September 12, 1938 to Gilmer and Sue Gwin. An outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing and hunting. He was also a collector of numerous items, especially coins and antiques and had been employed as a computer manager. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Daphne Morgan and brother, Mason Gwin. He is survived by his wife, Pamela Fogelman Gwin of Jackson; children, Bruce (Annette) Gwin of Demopolis, Marty (Susan) Gardner of Jackson, Denise (Benny) Hodge of Gainestown; son-in-law, Dennis Morgan; 11grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, September 23, 2016 at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church located at 100 Hospital Drive in Jackson with the Rev. David Powell officiating.
