Mary “Peggy” Seaton was an incredibly beloved Mother, devoted friend, helpful neighbor and consummate animal lover.
Born in Detroit, Michigan to May and Fred Richards, she was performing on the radio by the age of three. Always one who loved to perform, she began her acting career with The Catholic Theater in her area and summer stock productions in CT during July and August. She went on tour with Joan Blondell in Dark At The Top Of The Stairs for eight months before settling in NY in the late 1950’s.
She always said her “biggest and best production” was her daughter Joy. The two of them were inseparable.
She will be deeply missed by Joy, Krystyna and anyone whose life she touched.
Rest In Peace, dearest soul.
A private cremation was held and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
