Alvin C. "Mike" Acy, 90, of Rankin Co. MS, died Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at St. Dominic Hospital. A native of Carroll Co. MS, he was born May 8, 1926, the sixth of eleven children born to Thomas Jefferson and Leola Moseley Acy. He served in the US Army in WWII in the south Pacific and then in Korea.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at Lakewood Funeral Home from 10 - 12pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at 12pm with burial immediately following at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Alvin is survived by his wife of 68 years, Sidalia Prince Acy; sons Roger (Judy) and Gene (Brenda) Acy; granddaughter Deanna (Marty) McKee; great grandson Houston Collins IV; and great granddaughter Hannah McKee.
