Amanda Bell Rodgers, 36, of Flowood passed away on Monday, August 15, 2022. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 20 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Lakewood Funeral Home, 6011 Clinton Blvd, Jackson, Mississippi 39209, followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM.
She was born on June 21, 1986 in Jackson, MS to Charles and Judy Graham Bell. She was a graduate of Northwest Rankin High School and attended Mississippi College.
ABell, as many knew her, will be remembered for her quick wit, infectious laugh and heart of gold. She always put everyone else’s needs above her own, even in her final days. She was one of the most genuine and selfless friends a person could ever ask for and will be greatly missed by a host of family and friends. She was a proud, lifelong UT Vols fan and there’s no doubt that heaven has added a feisty, orange robe clad angel to their roster.
Amanda is preceded in death by her father, Charles "Chuck" Bell; paternal grandparents, AD and Myrna Bell; and maternal grandparents, Jim and Nell Graham. She is survived by her husband, Chris Rodgers; mother, Judy Bell; brothers, Derek Bell, Douglas Bell (Brooke), Wes Bell and Jarrod Bell (Bailey); and nephews, Pryce and Chase; father-in-law, Roy Rodgers and mother-in-law, Dr. Debra Rodgers. She is also survived by her kitty companions, Knox, Lilly and Stripe.
