Sending Love and sympathy to all the family. Art was a fine man. Sorry we could not come to the visitation, but Rex did not need to be out in the weather. We first met Art when Liz was in the nursing home. We enjoyed visiting with him as he was caring for her everyday. He will be missed at church and our visits with him there.

 Sorry to hear about your dad. We are out of town and could not make it. Just know that our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

My heartfelt sympathy goes out to family and friends for the lost of their beloved Arthur. I hope the promise at John 6:39 can bring real comfort. Knowing that there is hope for our lost love ones can be reassuring.

When Art came from the Airport to Active Combat in the Jackson Fire Dept. I was assigned to be his driver. It was new to him, but we worked together based on my experience as a combat firefighter at Sta. 1, 3, & 14 and an EMT.  No matter the situation he waited me telling him the fire was under control before he notified by radio the situation was under control.  That is mutual trust, and it don't get any better than that. I had the pleasure of driving Art when he came over from the Airport to Combat. He told me he had looked at my experience being at #1, #3, #14, an EMT and in Fire Prevention and would appreciate any in-put from me. I told him this was his boat, I was just driving it. It was a good ride Art, and I will miss you.

Sadness for us but a victory in Jesus. I feel blessed to have known this fine man. He loved all the firefighters and he was loved by all. He always had a kind word and discouraged any bad ones.
