Bascom Claude Simeon Worley, 86, passed away on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be on Saturday, August 27, 2022 from 9:00 to 10:00 am at First Baptist Church Clinton with a funeral service to follow. A graveside will be held after the service at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Simeon was a member of First Baptist Church of Clinton and taught Sunday School and served as a Deacon. He helped with the RA’s at the Church, served with the Lions Club and also enjoyed doing yardwork. He worked at Mississippi College from 1977 to 1998. Simeon served his Country in the United States Marine Corp.
He is survived by his wife, Joy D. Worley; sons, Glenn Worley and Scott Worley; brother, Michael Worley; sister, Joyce Screws; three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by parents, Bascom and Virginia Robbins Worley; two sisters and one grandchild.
