On Tuesday, January 19, 2021, Benjamin “Clayton” Pardue, loving father to five children, passed away at the age of 61. Clayton was born on June 14,1959 in Poplarville, MS to the late Leonard Dennis and Dorothy (Pike) Pardue. He raised 5 sons: Jeremy (Tiffany), Clay (Elizabeth), Derek, Michael(Lindsay),and Stephen (Elizabeth).
Growing up, Clayton loved spending time with his siblings and his Aunt Ruby. She always supported him in anything he did and loved spoiling him! He attended Poplarville High School where he played football and baseball. He instilled his love for sports in his boys. Clayton spent most of his time outdoors and enjoyed taking his boys hunting and fishing at every opportunity. Everyone enjoyed Clayton’s company because of his infectious smile and witty personality. Clayton truly loved his family and will be greatly missed.
Clayton is survived by his siblings Evelyn Sellers (Jim) and Carolyn Holcomb (Paul), as well as his 5 children and 5 grandchildren.
Clayton is preceded in death by his parents Leonard Dennis and Dorothy Pardue, as well as his his siblings: Mitchell (Elaine), Michael (Geraldine Sylvester), and Victor (Carolyn).
A visitation for family and friends will be held at Lakewood Funeral Home on Friday, January 22 from 10:00-11:00am, followed by a memorial service at 11:00am.
