Betty Wilkerson Boone, 49 - a resident of Clinton, MS died Friday, Aug. 22 at Baptist Hospital. She was born Oct. 1, 1964 in Vicksburg, MS. Mrs. Boone, a member of Wildwood Baptist Church, formerly attended Hinds Community College where she was a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. She also served with the Northside Elementary PTO. Her mother, Dorothy James Wilkerson, preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband of over 25 years, Billy Boone; her father, James W. Wilkerson; two daughters, Elizabeth Rochelle Boone, Margo Lynn Boone; one son, Richard Wayne Boone; one brother, James W. Wilkerson, Jr.; one sister, Janette Straight; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be from 12 noon until 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 25 at Wildwood Baptist Church with the service beginning at 2 p.m. Interment will be held at 4 p.m. Monday in Cedar Hills Cemetery, Vicksburg, MS.
