Betty enjoyed cooking, farming, and spending time with her family. She was a bookkeeper for her family's business, Killebrew Maintenance Service.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Doyle, and stepson John Killebrew. She is survived by her spouse, James Killebrew Sr. and her children, Lee Ann Denton (John), Evie Kelly (Butch), David Sellers (Lynn) and stepson James Jr. She is also survived by her grandchildren, John Denton Jr (Anna), Lacy Stewart (Stephen), Trey Kelly (Katie), Chris Kelly (Whitley), Emily Murray (Nick), Kasey Holmes (Jason), Arvid Woodard (Tara) and 23 great grandchildren.
A visitation for Betty will be held Friday, September 19, 2025 from 10:00 AM to12:00 PM at Lakewood Funeral Home, 6011 Clinton Blvd, Jackson, Mississippi 39209. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 2:00 PM at Coxburg Cemetery, 111965 Thornton Tolarsville Rd, Lexington, MS.
