Billy R. Watkins passed on May 28, 2026, at the age of 81. Visitation will be held at Lakewood Funeral Home, 6011 Clinton Blvd, Jackson, Mississippi 39209, on May 31, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm, followed by a Graveside Service at Lakewood Memorial Park, 6000 Clinton Blvd., Jackson, Mississippi 39209, on May 31, 2026, beginning at 1:30 pm.
Billy was born on September 20, 1944, to the late Wildred L. Watkins and Doris Hazel Robertson Watkins. He was employed with the family business, Watkins Radiator & Welding Inc.
Billy is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Tyson D. Watkins and sister, Margaret Annette Nichols. He is survived by his wife, Sandra T. Watkins; son, "Dana" Ken Watkins; daughters, "Donna" Rene Odom and Dee Ann Dyar (Jason); brother, Wildred "Ridge" Watkins; sister, Mildred "Midge" Vinson; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
