Bobbie J. Hester

Bobbie Jo Hester, 88, of Pearl, Mississippi, was born August 15, 1938, in Jackson, Mississippi, and died August 20, 2026. A beloved presence in the lives of those who knew her, Bobbie will be remembered with deep respect and lasting affection. Her loyalty to the people she held close and her devoted care for her family shaped a life marked by steady love and enduring connection.

Bobbie cherished her bridge club and the lifelong friends she made through the years of playing. She lived a good long life and loved her family dearly. She will truly be missed.

Bobbie was preceded in death by her father, JC Roberts; her mother, Lillian Roberts; her husband, William Hester; her sister, Mary Joyce Dickson (Bob Pete Dickson). She is survived by her sons, Bill Hester (Dawn) and Kevin Hester (Tanya); her brother, Ricky Roberts (Karen); her grandchildren, Trey Hester (Britny), Chande Hester Caballero (Scott), Makaylee Hester, Makenzie Hester; and her great-grandchildren, Brianna Beddingfield (Nick), Ezra Hester, Rowan Caballero, Ella Caballero.

Visitation will be held at Lakewood Funeral Home, 6011 Clinton Blvd, Jackson, Mississippi 39209, on August 28, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. She will be laid to rest at Lakewood Memorial Park.
