Bunny "Bunt" Ray Warren, 84, passed away on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at his home in Jackson. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 26, 2016 at Lakewood Funeral Home on Clinton Blvd., with visitation one hour prior. Interment will follow at Lakewood South Memorial Park on McCluer Rd.
Mr. Warren was born on April 2, 1932 in Magee, MS to the late Chester W. and Bessie Prince Warren. He retired from the US Air Force in 1972. He then worked for Woolley Brother's Upholstery Supply for many years. He was a longtime member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church and was a member of the Magnolia Masonic Lodge in Little Rock, AR.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, J.F. and Billy C. Warren.
Mr. Warren is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Bobbie E. Warren; sons, Kenny Warren and Paul Warren (Kristen); daughter, Brenda Thornburgh (Robert); sister, Carol Tanner (Jack); grandchildren, Ricky Thornburgh (Elizabeth), Daniel, Tyler, Sarah, and Drew Warren; great grandchildren, Nick and Violet Thornburgh.
