

Mrs. Cynthia “Cindy” McAlilly Jordan, 55, passed away Thursday, September 11, 2014 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. Visitation will be held from 4-8 PM Sunday, September 14 and from 9-10 AM Monday at Lakewood Funeral Home on Clinton Blvd. A graveside service will be conducted at 10 AM Monday at Lakewood Memorial Park on Clinton Blvd. A celebration of life service will be held at 6:30 PM Monday at Ridgecrest Baptist Church in Madison.
Mrs. Jordan was born in Jackson, MS on December 17, 1958 to the late James McAlilly, Jr. and Miriam O’Ferrall McAlilly. She poured her life into the lives of others and was a spiritual mother to so many. She loved to worship through singing. She also loved to travel, especially trips to the beach. She welcomed family and friends into her home with open arms. Cindy was an avid baseball fan and was a host mom for the Mississippi Braves. She was a member of The Exchange in Pearl where she sang on the worship team. One of her greatest joys in life was showering her two beautiful grandchildren with love.
She is survived by her husband, Kenny Jordan; sons, Josh (Celeste) Jordan, Cory (Mandy) Jordan, Andrew Jordan, Daniel Jordan; grandchildren, Paxton and Piper Jordan; and brothers, Marty (Suzanne) McAlilly and David (Sherry) McAlilly. Mrs. Jordan is preceded in death by her parents and son, William Jordan.
