Debbie Ann Slay, 58, passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2016, at Baptist Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be held from 10-12 PM on Wednesday, February 3, 2016 at Lakewood South Funeral Home on McCluer Rd. A memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday at noon.
Debbie was born on February 6, 1957 to Herbert and Charlotte White Griffin. She will be remembered by her family as a loving mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She was preceded in death by her father.
She is survived by her son, Jordan Slay; daughter, Mae Hendley (Cliff); mother; sister, Sandy Tanner (Chuck); grandchild, Slay Hendley; nieces, Emily Barr, Hayley Tanner, Taylor Tanner; and nephew, Evan Tanner.
