Donald Keith Cutrer, (age 64) passed away the evening of Saturday May 22 in Raymond, Ms. Visitation will be Thursday, May 27, 2021 from 9am-10am at Lakewood Memorial Funeral Home on Clinton Blvd. The funeral service will begin at 10am. The officiating minister will be Reverend Sid Johnson of Alta Woods Baptist Church.
Donald (Don) was born in Jackson, Mississippi, May 6, 1957 to Claude Lane (C.L.) Cutrer and Bessie Irene Smith Cutrer. He had two brothers, Claude Lane Cutrer Jr. and Douglas Wayne Cutrer. He served in the United States Air Force as an electrical power production specialist with an honorable discharge in 1977. He was a member of Alta Woods Baptist Church in Jackson, MS where he was active in several committees over the years.
Don Cutrer never met a stranger and he had an easy-going attitude towards life. He was full of charisma and was fun loving and amazingly resilient. As a young person he was a gymnast and a drummer. As an adult he loved landscaping and took pride in creating immaculate lawns. Don worked in several dealerships in Jackson and his knowledge of cars made him very successful in the auto industry.
His memory will live on in his family; his brother Douglas Cutrer of Jackson, Ms his sister-in-law Kathy Cutrer of Terry, Ms, his former wife Gina Luna and their children Nicole Marie Treanor (Bryan), and Melissa Gail Luna, of Jackson, Ms, his grandchild Alex Eli Jenkins, as well as several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents C.L and Irene Cutrer of Jackson and one brother Claude Lane Cutrer, Jr. of Terry, Ms.
The family would like to thank all of their faithful family and friends for their love, support, and continued prayers.
