Dr. William T. Beavers

Dr. William T. Beavers, 89, passed away on June 13, 2016, at Select Specialty Hospital in Jackson, MS. A memorial service will be held at Parkway Baptist Church on Wednesday, June 22, 2016, at 11:00 am.

Dr. Beavers was born on November 25, 1926, in Blue Mountain, MS, to the late Aaron Lynn and Rosa Frances Nance Beavers. He was a graduate of New Albany High School. He received his pre-dentistry education at the University of Mississippi and his DDS from Northwestern University School of Dentistry in Chicago, IL. Dr. Beavers practiced dentistry for 49 years in New Albany, MS. He was a charter member and deacon of Hillcrest Baptist Church in New Albany. He loved people, a good laugh, his family and friends, and most importantly, his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Dr. Beavers is preceded in death by his first wife, Geraldine Lackey Beavers; his parents; his brother, Dr. Lynnard Beavers.

He is survived by his wife, Pearla Ray Beavers of Clinton, MS; son, Rev. Bill Beavers (Becky) of Southaven, MS; daughters, Rosalyn Beavers Fabianke (Dr. Raynard) of Red Bay, AL, and Marsha Beavers Smith of Cypress, TX; step-children, Pat Imhoff (Jerry) of Epharata, PA, and Rushie Wright (Allyson) of Elliott, MA; seven grandchildren; one step-grandchild, and numerous great-grandchildren.
