

On January 10, 1954 he married the love of his life, Lola Dugger. Together, they raised three beautiful daughters. He was devoted to his faith in Christ and to his family. He joined Calvary Baptist Church as a child and served as youth Sunday School teacher, Deacon and on numerous committees until moving to Clinton and joining Grace Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Genevieve Ayers; his brother, Mike Waddell (Betty). He is survived by his wife, Lola Dugger Waddell; daughters, Cathy Nash (Barry), Peggy Blankenship (Jerry), Debbie Goodwin (Tony); his brother, Jimmy Waddell of Seattle, WA; grandchildren, Jerry Blankenship, Jr. (Victoria), Jonathan Blankenship, Cara Nash, Jamie Nash, Thomas Goodwin (Andrea), and Zachary Goodwin; his great-grandchildren, Ivey Ann Blankenship, Emma Blankenship, Memphis Starkey and Chandler Goodwin; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Lakewood Funeral Home on Friday, April 8, 2016 from 5-8 PM and from 2-3PM on Saturday with a graveside service following at Lakewood Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Grace Baptist Church building fund at 465 East Northside Drive, Clinton, MS 39056
