I was sorry to hear of your Dad's passing.  I used to work with Rhonda and Debra for the City of Jackson years ago before they moved to Texas.  Also knew your Mom.  May God comfort you and your family during this very sad and difficult time.

Mr. Grantham was a wonderful, loving father-in-law. The type of man who would give his loved ones the shirt off his back. I remember him teaching me how to make homemade biscuits. I greatly miss Mrs. Robbie, too; she was a very loving, godly, and precious woman. I still remember playing golf with them, almost 20 years ago. Mrs. Robbie and I spent more time in the woods looking for our golf balls, than actually hitting them! We were terrible at golf, but had fun anyway. I feel blessed to have known them. Everyone should have in-laws like them.

Jeff, Laura and Boys, I was so saddened to hear of Uncle Ellis' passing.  He was very special to both Mom and I.  I know he was welcomed into Heaven by Aunt Robbie, Grandma, Papa, Pop, Aunt Olivia and the rest of the family that are already there.  I can just imagine them all getting together to look down and watch over all of us.  We love you all very much!

My condolences and sympathy; with love to each of you: Jeff, Laura, Christian, Elijah, and Joshua... Remembering Uncle Ellis makes me happy... Realizing that he will not be around for us to talk to him, fills my heart with sadness... The knowledge that he has gone to heaven to be with God, Aunt Robbie, and members of our family that went to be with Jesus, before him is very reassuring. With this in mind; may all of us find joy in our sadness, because Uncle Ellis is in heaven with our Lord. And may you find comfort through the reflections of your special memories of your dad's love(father-in-law, granddad.)

With love to each one of you: Jeff, Laura, Christian, Elijah, and Joshua... In all of my memories of Uncle Ellis through the years, he was always happy and smiling.  He was always so pleasant...  It is sad that he had to leave us at this time, but God was ready for him to enter heaven.  As God's Gentle Peace fills your heart & comforts you…  I wish that there were words that could take away your sorrow.  I pray that you will gain strength through your special memories of your dad's (father-in-law, granddad) love for you.

Laura, Jeff and Boys,  I was so saddened to hear of Uncle Ellis' passing. Uncle Ellis was very special to me. Although I am sad for his passing, I am happy that he is no longer suffering. I know that Aunt Robbie, Grandma, Papa, and the rest of the family that went before him were there to welcome him into heaven. I wish I could be there with you all, unfortunately I will not be able to make the trip for the funeral. Just know that I will be there with you all in my thoughts and prayers.
