Eric Stephen Hutchison

Born on January 5, 1974, in Jackson, MS, Eric Stephen Hutchison was the son of Harold Hutchison and Marjorie Hutchison. From the beginning, his life reflected a steady spirit—one marked by devotion to those he loved and a quiet faithfulness in the way he carried his responsibilities.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Hutchison; his grandmother, Effie Johnson; sister, Susan Dianne Hutchison; niece, Angie Tharp and his cousin, Katie Anderson. He is survived by his mother, Marjorie Hutchison; sisters, Judy Hutchison, Michelle Woodruff and Wendy Mehl. He is also survived by his aunt Kathie and Uncle Steve Andersen; his nieces, Megan Vincent and Savanna Fields; nephews, Chris and Brad Tharp and Casey Vincent.

Eric worked as a newspaper carrier for fourteen years, a role that suited his dependable nature and willingness to serve in the everyday ways that matter. Those who knew him will remember the constancy of his presence and the sincerity with which he lived.
