Faye L. Green

Faye Lowery Green went to her heavenly Father on May 2, 2016. She was 80 years of age. Visitation will be at Northside Baptist Church at 10:00 on Wednesday May 4, 2016. The service will be at 12:00 at the church, and burial following at Clinton Cemetery.

Mrs. Green was born in Prentiss County, Booneville Mississippi on April 5, 1936 to Austin and Mary Lowery. She was the youngest of 10 children. She is survived by one son, Jamie and wife, Carol of Clinton; two sisters, Justine Higgins of Memphis, TN and Marie Davis of Naperville, IL; special friends, Edwin and Pam Price, Dee Dee Lee; and niece, Carol Ann Bearden (Jim) who has always be like a daughter, and a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Jim Green; son, Gary; brothers, Roy, Troy, Hoyet, Robert and Edwin; and sisters, Ivy Holder and Peggy Brewer.

Mrs. Green worked for Clinton Public School System for 34 years. She worked at the high school in the front office. During her 34 years of work she worked under 8 different principals. She loved the outdoors and the birds, and would often be seen working in her yard. She was an avid vegetable and flower gardener. Mrs. Green is a charter member of Northside Baptist church, Clinton, MS.
