Visitation & Funeral services will be held Friday, July 22nd, 2022 at Highland Baptist Church. Visitation begins at 1:00 with service at 2:30. In honor of his military service a brief graveside service will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park pavilion.
Cliff has been the Pastor of Highland Baptist Church since 1981. He was a 6th degree black belt & Sensei in Shotokan Karate and honored in the MS Karate Hall of Fame. Cliff lived for GOD, his Country, his Family & his Community.
Cliff is preceded in death by parents, Garland C Shipp, Sr. & Mary Richards Shipp; wife, Charlotte Shipp; sister, Joann McDonald. He is survived by: sister, Jean Tuxhorn; his children: Roxanne Hickman (Jon), Jeff Shipp (Kathy-Jo), Jason Shipp (Karen) and Rachelle Shipp. His grandchildren: Brandy Hawk, Amanda Shipp, Cagney Martinez, Clifton Shipp, Grayson Shipp, Coleman Shipp & Kyle Hickman (step grandson). And 3 great grandchildren.
