Mr. Mike Brown, age 48, passed away on September 20, 2014 at his residence in Clinton. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2014 from 5:00-7:00 pm at Lakewood Funeral Home and Wednesday, September 24 from 10:00-11:00 am. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11:00 am in the chapel. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park.
Mr. Gary Michael “Mike” Brown was born on August 7, 1966 in Jackson, MS. He was the son of Larry and Bettye Sasser Brown. He attended Day Spring Community Church. He was an avid fan of the MSU Bulldogs and the Mississippi Braves.
Mr. Brown is survived by his parents; his sister, Karyn Brown; his aunts, Ann Nethero (John), Sheryl Scharf (Don) and Margie Sasser and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harper T. and Johnnie B. Brown and Willie and Helen Sasser, his uncle, James Sasser and a cousin, Jamie Scharf.
