Gayle Lynn Fletcher

Ms. Gayle Lynn Fletcher, 57, passed away on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 in Jackson, MS. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 5, 2016 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at Lakewood Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Saturday, August 6, 2016 at 10:00 am at Lakewood Funeral Home. Gayle was born in Jackson, MS on October 3, 1958 to the late Frederick C. Fletcher and Madlyn Palmer Fletcher. Gayle was a longtime member of the Meadowbrook Church of Christ and recently a member of Siwell Road Church of Christ. She has been a teacher at Hartfield Academy for many years and thoroughly enjoyed teaching math. This year would have been her 33rd year of teaching. Gayle is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her brothers, Dr. Jeff Fletcher (Kathy) and Craig Fletcher (Vickie); nieces, Anna Dabbs (Clay), Gracie Fletcher and Zara Langley; nephews, Jay Glenn (Cara), Emerson Fletcher and Brent Fletcher; several great nieces and nephews.
