

Ms. Quinn was born of October 22, 1919 in Talladega, AL, and had recently celebrated her 92nd birthday. She was a former resident of Jackson, MS and a long time employee at the Elite Restaurant in Downtown Jackson where she made many friends.
She was preceded in death by her son LCpl (USMC) James Carl Johnson, husband Charlie Quinn and grandson David Barksdale.
She is survived by her children, Otis Johnson of McCalla, AL, Margaret Braksdale of Jacksonville, AL, Frank Johnson of Savannah, GA, Barbara Simmons of Clinton, MS, Faye Hyght of Odenville, AL, and Linda Pulley (Jack) of Pearl, MS as well as 20 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, and 29 great-great grandchildren.
The family would like to express their most sincere gratitude to the administration and staff at Brandon Court Nursing Home and Hospice Advantage for the amazing love, care and attention given to our loved one, as well as the love and support shown to our family.
Visitation will be on Thursday November 10, 2011 from 5-7 PM. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 11, 2011 at 2 PM at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home on High Street in Jackson with burial following at Lakewood Cemetery.
